Ultrapure Whey is a primary source whey protein isolate, followed by whey concentrate and finally whey hydrolysate. The whey isolate is the purest and lowest in fat and carbohydrates of the 3, it digests very easily and has the highest spectrum of amino acids per gram. Whey concentrate digests slower. Thus allowing the continued uptake of amino acids into the blood stream long after the isolate has been assimilated. Which helps maintain the human body in a positive nitrogen balance for a lot longer.
Hydrolysed whey protein – pre-digested protein or broken down into peptide form. Peptides are strings of amino acids.
