Green coffee extract
Standardized to 10% chlorogenic acids – this acid is a natural antioxidant, it can slow the secretion of glucosamine into the blood stream after a meal, it also increases the sensitivity of cells to insulin.
Bitter orange extract
Standardized to 40% of vitamin C and 0.25% synephrine – synephrine together with octopamine, caffeine and green tea polyphenols affect the lipolysis process, on the one hand increasing the release of fatty acids from adipocytes, on the other increasing the energy expenditure of the body and intensifying their burning in cellular mitochondria.
Green tea extract (4: 1)
Contains polyphenols, including catechins. The most important compound is EGCG, or epigallocatechin gallate, which is a powerful antioxidant, 100 times stronger than vitamin C and 25 times stronger than vitamin E.
Tamarind extract
From Malabar standardized to 60% hydroxycitric acid (HCA) – this acid is a specific inhibitor of the citrate lyase enzyme, thereby reducing the availability of Acetyl-CoA to the fatty acid synthesis process. Taking preparations containing this extract may affect the appetite, which helps to limit the amount of food intake, inhibit the synthesis of fatty acids and increase the synthesis of glycogen in the liver.
Cocoa extract
Standardized to 6% of theobromine. Theobromine is a purine alkaloid, has a hypotensive effect. In high doses lowers blood pressure and at the same time increases diuresis. Administered in small doses causes the expansion of blood vessels in the brain. As a result improves blood circulation of the organ and improves its functioning. Also, theobromine affects the heart (dilates coronary vessels). Theobromine has little stimulating properties. Some sources indicate that the use of theobromine may be helpful in weight reduction programs. This substance in combination with caffeine and polyphenols contained in green tea has a thermogenic effect.
