Niacin – an important B vitamin

It is also known as vitamin B3 and vitamin PP. It comes in two main forms as nicotinic acid and nicotinamide. It is found in foods such as bran, yeast, eggs, peanuts, poultry, red meat, fish, whole grain cereals, legumes and seeds, but can also be synthesized in the body from tryptophan, which is an amino acid.

Reduced risk of unwanted skin redness

Preparations containing pure nicotinic acid may cause the so-called flushing phenomenon, i.e. skin redness due to the dilation of blood vessels. The preparation ESSENSEY Niacin contains nicotinamide, a form of niacin, which, according to scientific literature, causes a similar effect much less often ³ . 

Directions for use: Take 1 capsule daily with a sufficient amount of water, during or immediately after a meal.
